• Sketchy owners: Complaints on Better Business Bureau, other platforms also owned by them don’t inspire confidence.
• Bugs and bad design: The platform sounds glitchy as heck. That’s the last thing a writer needs.

Bottom line

Writers Work sounds like a dead end. You’re not getting your money’s worth, and your time is worth way more than that.

Here’s the thing, though: being a writer doesn’t mean being tied to marketplaces like this. You’ve got the skills to build an audience who trusts you, and with that trust comes true freedom.

Hard work? Absolutely. Selling out your voice? Nope. You control what you write, who you write for, and how you price things.
