Write App Reviews Review: Can You Really Make Money Testing Apps?

I saw an ad for “Write App Reviews” - get paid to test apps. If it sounds too good to be true, it often is. But I’m always open to new side hustles.

Write App Reviews gives you a website, then you review apps.

They say you’ll make money from ads, email lists, and mostly, affiliate links.

The Reality

The problem: your site lives on their servers. You have zero control over search rankings, so no one will find your reviews.

No traffic = no money.

Plus, everyone reviews apps now. No SEO skills or niche knowledge means you’ll get lost in the noise.

They even rebrand their product under different names - a shady tactic.

My 2 Cents

The idea is good, but this system is broken. It’s designed to make money for them, not you.

If you’re serious about online income, your time is better spent elsewhere.
