Survey Junkie Review
Published: · Updated:
Survey Junkie is one way to snag a few extra bucks while watching TV or waiting for an appointment. Don’t get starry-eyed about replacing your income with it.
The good stuff:
- Legit-ish. They’re not going to scam you out of your time, and plenty of people have actually gotten paid.
- Quick cashouts. Hit $5, and you can grab it. No long waiting periods.
- Lots of surveys. You probably won’t qualify for most, but there are always new ones popping up.
The not-so-good stuff:
- Peanuts. You’ll be lucky to crack a few bucks an hour doing this.
- Disqualification. It’s super annoying to spend time answering questions just to be told you don’t fit the bill, and get zilch.
- Worldwide? Nope. Good for you if you’re in the US, Canada, or Australia. Everyone else is out of luck.
- Beware the ban. If their algorithm thinks you’re not answering consistently, you might get the boot, even if you’re being honest.
My take:
If you have time to kill and wouldn’t mind making money off it, well, why not? Just don’t expect it to cover your rent.
Personally, I prefer a real online business like professional affiliate marketing.
Best,
Tim
