PLR: The Shortcut That Leads Nowhere
Published: · Updated:
Struggling to create content? Tempted by those “done-for-you” PLR (private label rights) packages?
Don’t fall for it.
PLR is like buying a generic outfit off the rack. Sure, it’s technically clothing, but does it fit you? Does it have any personality?
Here’s why PLR usually sucks:
- Recycled trash: The same PLR article is sold hundreds of times. It’s generic, bland, and won’t help you stand out.
- SEO poison: Duplicate content is a big no-no for search engines. Using PLR means competing with everyone else who bought the same stuff.
- Your voice matters: People connect with you, not some mass-produced content. Trying to fake it breaks trust.
Want to build a real audience?
Put in the work. Write your own stuff, even if it’s imperfect at first.
Your unique perspective is more valuable than any PLR shortcut.
Stay awesome,
Tim
