The PAS Copywriting Method: Turn A Problem Into A Sale
Published: · Updated:
PAS stands for Problem, Agitate, Solution. It’s a simple way to write ads and salesletters that work.
Here’s how:
- Name the problem. What pain does your customer feel?
- Twist the knife. Make them feel how bad that problem is.
- Offer the cure. Your product is the answer.
Why it works:
- Gets their attention. People care more about their problems than your product.
- Builds desire. Once they feel the problem, they’re desperate for relief.
Example:
- Problem: Starting an online business is hard.
- Agitate: Most people fail because they don’t have the right steps to follow.
- Solution: My course teaches you the exact system, so you don’t waste time and can start making money fast.
Not for everything: Sometimes, just listing the benefits is enough.
But when people don’t realize they have a problem yet, PAS wakes them up.
Ready to try it?
- Pick one product. Start with something simple.
- Write a short ad using PAS.
- Test it! See if it gets more clicks and sales than your old ads.
Focus on solving problems, not just features. That’s how you make sales.
Stay awesome,
Tim
