Before we dive in, here’s the blunt truth: most vendors are wary of newbies. They’re busy, they don’t know you, and let’s face it, most new affiliates don’t bring much to the table.

Plus, there’s a lot of fraud going on in the industry recently.

Your job is to change that perception and show them why you’re real and different.

Stand Out From the Crowd

Think of this as a party where you’re the new kid. You’re not going to barge in demanding attention.

Instead:

• Introduce Yourself: Name, website, contact info - make it easy for them to vet you.
• Show Your Plan: Don’t be secretive. Briefly outline how you’ll promote the product (email, reviews, ads, etc.).
• Don’t lie: Don’t make yourself or your email list bigger than it really is. Present proof! (show, don’t tell)
• Be a Real Person: Vendors are humans too. Be friendly and professional. If you can connect with them, even better!
