The 3 Key Skills For Business Success
These are the only 3 key skills we need to master in order to succeed in (the game of) business.
And while these three skills are the ‘only’ skills we need to learn and master, they are essential.
Even more so, these skills are absolutely crucial.
These three skills are of the utmost importance; they’re the key and determining factor for business success.
Here they are:
- Getting attention (traffic generation, advertising, lead generation, direct-response based marketing)
- Sales (persuasive copywriting, funnel creation, ascension, effective sales process and pages)
- Product development (product/service and offer creation)
These are the 3 critial skills.
Everything else - and every other business function - is not nearly as important as these three.
Peter Drucker once said:
Because the purpose of business is to create a customer, the business enterprise has two - and only two - basic functions: marketing and innovation.
Marketing and innovation produce results; all the rest are costs.
Marketing is the distinguishing, unique function of the business.
If we can get the attention of a potential customer and are able to lead them through a systematic ascension process, and sell him/her the solution to their problem that we created/developed, it’s game over.
This is the entire picture of what makes a business really work and what leads to success in business.
